This guided tour is great for people who want to drive at a slow pace to take in the scenery. Before you head out, your guide will give you instruction on how to operate the snowmobile you will be driving. You will have several stops at great photo spots where you can see several mountain ranges, the Continental Divide, and Rocky Mountain National Park in the distance. We also have a Cocoa Cabin on the mountain where you can sip hot cocoa and warm up during your tour.

Everyone on this tour is expecting to ride at a faster pace! This popular tour is for snowmobilers who do not want to be stuck with the slow people on the Scenic Tour. Before heading out your guide will show you how to operate your snowmobile. Before you head out, you will receive a detailed safety talk with your guide who will give you instruction on the operation of each snowmobile. Get comfortable and test your skills on our 3/4 mile long oval track before heading out on the trails.

This tour is for more advanced riders. Your guide will train you on the operation of your snowmobile before your party starts up Prospect Mountain (up to 12,600 feet!) to attack the trails and take in the majestic scenery.

Heeney Outpost

This outpost is conveniently located just a bit north from the famous Colorado resort towns of Vail, Breckenridge, and Keystone. Depending on the weather, you’ll have the opportunity to take in scenic views of: The Continental Divide • Rocky Mountain National Park • Lower Cataract Lake • Gore Mountain Range. Where you go depends on the tour selected.

Birdseye Outpost

This tour area starts at 10,000 feet and tops out at over 12,600 feet above sea level. You will begin on the easiest part of the trail system and you’ll have free time in the meadow where you can practice riding your snowmobile and warm up with some hot cocoa in the Cocoa Tent. Where you go after this will depend on which tour you have selected.

The tour starts out on our easier trails and you’ll have some playtime in the meadow so you can get fully comfortable with your snowmobile before you take on the steep climbs and fresh powder around Prospect Mountain.

This place not only was affordable but compared to all the other surrounding locations it definitely was more personalized and friendly! Our guides name was Tim and he not only took us over 3 mountain ranges and drop a bucket load of knowledge on us about the area he made myself and friends want to come back and do the advanced course.
